LTV Steel Corp. retiree formerly of Nemacolin
Stephen Bialko, 74, of Euclid, Ohio, formerly of Nemacolin, died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2001, in Euclid Hospital-Cleveland Clinic Health System, Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born August 30, 1927, in Nemacolin, a son of Frank and Mary Husanyicza Bialko.
Mr. Bialko was a 1945 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and served with the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.
He was a former member of Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Nemacolin and a member of St. Christine's Roman Catholic Church in Euclid.
Mr. Bialko worked at Republic Steel Corp.'s Steel and Tube Division and retired from LTV Steel Corp. in 1992.
He was a member of United Steel Workers of America.
On November 29, 1952, he married Arlene Ralko Bialko, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steve Bialko Jr. of Amherst, Ohio; two grandchildren, Christopher S. and Alexander H. Bialko; a brother, Michael Bialko of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Joseph W. "Yosh" and Frank A. "Bingo" Bialko Sr.; and two sisters, Mary E. Griesbach and Susan Eustice.
